I recently did the ABS BEST (Bonanza Essential Systems and Techiques online course and put together what I thought were some of the more important aspects. I did it in Apple Keynote and Bill Sargeson got it into PDF format. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Bo pilots, remember, the A36 prop will default to low pitch/high RMP angle if the governor loses oil pressure, which is what would happen if the engine failure results in loss of oil pressure (usually it would!) - this sets up the highest drag scenario for the prop and plane's glide will be significntly impacted. You will NOT get the POH glide ratio if there is a loss of oil pressure!!! Keep that in mind and adjust your glide estimates accordingly - Foreflight can help with the glide ring, BUT... (this is from "Van's Air Force" site) Instead, the glide ring is strictly calculated using the exact Best Glide Speed and Glide Ratio you manually input into your aircraft's profile. Because a windmilling propeller creates significantly more drag than one set to low RPM (or stopped), the accuracy of your glide ring depends on the numbers you enter.
